the awesome katrina from pugly pixel tagged me to share 7 random facts about myself. so this gives me a chance to share some random facts that wouldn’t necessarily come up in daily design posts!
1. i’ve been dancing since i was little…in fact, my dream as i was growing up was to dance on broadway (okay,or star in a music video!) unfortunately for me…you have to be able to carry a tune. but i did start college as a dance major and ended up teaching dance (mostly modern, jazz & hip hop and coaching dance teams. if only they had so you think you can dance 10 years ago!
2. and speaking of so you think you can dance…i’ve been to the live tour performance for seasons 3,4&5! (this is when the top 12 dancers tour the country). don’t laugh, i swear it’s a ridiculously fun night out…even if you lose some hearing from all the young girls screaming!
3. i married my high school sweetheart…well, technically we didn’t officially start dating until a month after we graduated but i think it still counts! (the funny thing is that we went to prom together…but with different dates!)
4. i have a serious obsession with vases…especially jonathan adler ones. i currently have 7 and counting…
5. and speaking of obsessions, i have a serious sweet tooth. i wish my food pyramid could consist of the frosted group, the chocolate group, the whipped group & the creme-filled group! sigh.
6. i’m an only child. double the love, double the gifts…but no one else to blame!
7. i have a bizarre fear of walking down hills (well, actually i think it’s more a fear of falling down the hill!). which, sadly, provides lots of amusement for my family and friends whenever they see me baby step down steep hills!!

you are amazing, Piper. you’ve got an eye for style and all this time, i assumed your background was in design!
i love watching that show. i missed the last two seasons, but i’ve seen all the others. they’re fun to watch and enjoy i Nigel’s critiques/comments and the way he talks — so articulate! the casting calls can be hilarious, too
if only that show began airing ten years ago — i might have seen you on tv! you’re lucky you’ve seen those talented dancers live.
