{find + seek…autumn}

as much as i say i don’t like fall, it really only has to do with the colder weather…i can’t help but love the colors of autumn.  seeing the leaves change color, snuggling under a cozy throw, carving pumpkins…just a few of my favorite fall activities.  this year i’d love to add apple picking to that list!

what are you looking forward to this autumn?

  1. I would say apple picking but I’m having trouble finding an orchard to pick in — there was sadly a bad frost in spring and most orchards in San Diego lost their apple buds. But I do love the colors of fall. Even if I can’t see them in the trees, I can see them elsewhere.

  2. Love that little board. It is so fall fabulous. You know I like fall, but I think I look forward to the wardrobe change the most. Warm sweaters, scarves, and boots. All some of my faves.

  3. Love those candleholders!! Instant addition to the wish list.
    My favorite part of fall is actually the cold weather, I don’t do well in heat so it is such a relief when it goes away. My husband even makes comments about how much he loves “fall wife” because I’m such a better mood when I’m not hot. Second favorite part would have to be football, foliage, and trips to the orchard for apples, cider donuts, and pumpkins. I could go on, I love it all really!

  4. I’m looking forward to apples too, but not picking them. You pick them, I’ll make them into applesauce :) Home-preserved food tastes so much better in the dead of winter than cans from the store.

  5. I love how the leaves change color, gorgeous. But i am not looking forward to winter. So fall to me is a little sad where summer is over and on the way to the cold winter :( . But i have to think of some fall reciepes. Any ideas? Always love ideas.

  6. i love fall and everything that comes along! beautiful colors, the sense of stolen time when the leafs fall, how wonderful the kitchen smells with goods…

  7. Oooh, I love Autumn! I love the colors and candles, baking and warm beverages, pumpkins and scarecrow festivals … I can’t wait!
