cool halloween cards

a little collection of halloween cards.  since we’ve moved to our house a few years ago, passing out candy on halloween has become a bit of a mystery – as in, how much candy do we need to get?!  last year, we went through 10 bags of candy in only 45 minutes!!  we had to slink back in the house and quickly turn off our lights.  we’re thinking we may have to give out the dreaded pennies this year to keep up with demand! (grin)

what candy (or item) was your least favorite to receive when trick or treating?  remember necco wafers?  those went right to the giveaway pile for me!

  1. These cards are adorable — I may try to see if I can get and send some on time. As for candy, luckily I had my brother. We’d trick-or-treat in different areas then dump our candy out and trade what we didn’t like for what we did. I was never a big peanut butter person so he got my Reeses and Butterfingers and I got his M&Ms or Kit Kats or Crunch bars.

  2. Lol. I remember going over to my friends house when I was younger and trick or treating in their neighborhood, return back to their house and have the ‘keep’ and ‘trade’ pile! Ah! Memories! I Loved the pixie sticks and the laffy taffy.
    P.S. Beautiful cards!!!
    HAve a lovely day,
    xo

  3. Love the cards, the eye chart one especially! We never know how much candy to get either. Usually we give out candy as a group with our neighbors (we sit around and eat snacks and chat while the kiddies come by) and every year we wither run out too soon or are left with pounds of candy in the house.

  4. I love fun little notecards. Which reminds me … I need to do better at keeping in touch the good old fashioned way!

  5. The last card is adorable! Probably because I love candy corn and am a dorky accountant.

And my favorite candy is probably Reese’s peanut butter cups.

  6. Oh my goodness, those Halloween cards are adorable. I want to have a Halloween party so I can have an excuse to use them!
