ever notice how distracting the interweb can be?? i can start by looking at a dance video on facebook and somehow, 2 hours later, i’m looking at all different kinds of dining room tables…and, let’s face it, i probably originally started my search by wanting to check out something completely different! it’s like you “come to” and realize “wasn’t i supposed to be looking for photos of beds?”
there’s just too darn much inspiration out there. i can happily spend hours going from blog to blog to etsy shop to online magazine back to blog…well, you get the picture. too bad i can’t find someone who’s willing to pay me to just surf the net all day…ooh, even better if i can locate myself on the beach!
but back to reality. here are some things i came across this week while being distracted (notice how i apparently have no control over said distractions!). have a wonderful weekend everyone full of your own happy distractions!

I’m so with you there, Piper! I wonder if there’s a website out there that could track your searches in a way that could tell you your “train”. You know, like a train of thought? (Sometimes I’ll stop and think: “How did I get to this thought?” And then I’ll backtrack.) They need something like that for the web
Anyway, I’m so loving this roundup you’ve done! That green with the gold looks so good together. I love that ship mirror. Too bad someone snatched it up two minutes after A Cup of Jo put it up!
Have a wonderful weekend, Piper! I do hope I’m very productive this weekend & not easily distracted (we’ll see how that goes…:)
I agree! I’ve been floating around these interwebs all morning, thinking I’ll eventually remember what it was I originally logged in for
Happy Weekend!
I’ve definitely been there!
I love the green color floating throughout your wandering. It makes me want to paint something (or buy that ring)
Oh aqua, aqua, aqua… Oh aqua, you’re the prettiest color out there, I think…

The umbrella in fantastic!
Piper, so you don’t have any antidote to that “distractions”, although “happy”? I mean: any trick to keep focused?
These days I have so many big and small things to do online and I’m kind of worried about exactly the process you describe… Add emails, add social networks, add pinterest… I need to keep focused and try to be effective and save time! I’d love to hear some tip…
Have a lovely weekend you too!
I’m definitely distracted by that gorgeous ring!
Interweb distractions are what make it go round! Pinterest has been my current way of never getting anything accomplished… & growing inspiration overload! Have a great weekend!
I love that shade of green! I was going to go with this shade for my photog logo, but sided with a blue version of this color instead. But it’s so pretty! Love all your inspiration photos today and I agree…I can spend ALL day (and often do!) surfing the web
Have a great weekend, Piper!
There’s too much inspiration and I have too many good ideas (with the time I want to spend on them being stolen by schoolwork). I also simply need that umbrella — it’s perfect. I wonder if it comes in blue…
Happy weekend, Piper!
I completely understand what you’re saying! It happens to me every single day! I have so many things bookmarked and so many things I dream of having/making/baking/doing due to the lovely interwebs. Such a lovely collage of a lovely shade!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hahah… yup, same here! And I would absolutely love that! Now you’ve got me dreaming of the beach again! ; ) Love the color choice for your picks and that umbrella… and the painting.. really, I just like it all!
There’s so much truth in your words, Piper. I can totally relate to them
. Happy weekend. xo
yes, i agree! that’s why i really need to put a time limit to being on the internet….there’s just too much goodness out there.
hope you are enjoying your weekend.

So true! I’m absolutely in love with that shade of green. But I can’t decide if I love that ring or chest of drawers more!
Um, yes, yes I have noticed that particular phenomenon.
And that green … and images with a hint of vintage … heaven. Sigh.
I can lose hours on the internet – it’s a problem
)
This is a gorgeous set of images – I just LOVE it!!!
Just found our blog and adore this green moodboard you created! The vintage green with gold is just perfection…

There’s certainly a great deal to know about this subject. I really like all of the points you made.
