{spring cleaning checklist: organize me}

spring cleaning checklist

happy monday everyone!  hope you all had a great weekend.  mine was good right up until sunday when i got stricken with some sort of bug.  ugh.  so i’m here…just not 100% here. (forgive me then, if i ramble incoherently!)

we had a chance to take new photos for the store site!!  hope you enjoy them – the theme this month is all about making spring cleaning fun.  for me, step 1 on the spring cleaning checklist, is just getting things organized – the simple statement “put like things together” comes to mind. i know, it seems like something you’d tell a kindergartner but, it really does work!

so this seemed like the perfect job for these wire baskets from fog linen.  this is how i want my whole house to be!  (i’m allowed to dream, right?!)  later this week, i’ll have a post on how to make the chalkboard shipping tags – trust me, if i can make them, anyone can!!

please feel free to share your spring cleaning tips!!  p.s. here’s my main tip:  don’t forget to crank the tunes when cleaning!

  3. Oh drool! I love a perfectly organized room. And your photograph is wonderful. I’m sorry to hear you’re sick though — rest up today. As for my spring cleaning tip, I always ask myself if I’m really using something. If not, I either trash it or donate it. It’s sometimes hard to do but worth it in the end.

  4. Love those baskets & chalkboard tags! :) Ahh, I need to do some spring cleaning…I feel like I always need cleaning :) Those photos are really inspiring though – maybe I just need to move things around and feel inspired again for spring! :)

    P.S. The bride-to-be loved the gift card, and everyone was asking all sorts of questions about OSR! I said lots of good things ;)
