70s wallpaper

morning!  gotta say it was a whirlwind weekend!  marcus’s cousin got married on saturday in a lovely, outdoor spring wedding (albeit slightly chilly!)  you know you’re in for a good time when the groom does some karoke on the dance floor!

and then the big news came – i’m an “aunt”!!  ok, so not technically, but when you’re an only child, you take these “aunt” opportunities when you can get them!  we traveled down to columbus yesterday to meet the little guy – he’s just beautiful!

and somehow we squeezed in time to watch lucky number slevin again.  have you ever seen it?  if not, run, don’t walk, to your nearest video store and grab it – not only is it a great thriller with twists & turns but it’s the wallpaper that takes the cake!  every time i see it, i just get mesmerized by the wallpaper!  cool, retro, 70′s style patterns that look modern.  i seriously need to wallpaper a room already!!

  1. Sounds like a wonderful weekend, Piper! I have never seen Lucky Number Slevin, but just looking at the stills of the movie shots (on IMDB), I can see what you’re talking about! The wallpaper is SO awesome!! :) How fun. I want a place to wallpaper too!
(And congrats to the happy couple and also on becoming an aunt! It totally counts – in Asian culture, we call everybody aunts and uncles, so you definitely count as an auntie ;)

  2. I am with you on the Lucky Number Slevin rave – great story and fabulous wallpaper:) Thrilled to see everything you are doing – congrats! Paula

  3. Loving these patterns, but have yet to see the film! Thanks for the rec though, I’m all for 70s wallpaper anytime:) xo
