{why didn’t i think of that?}

so you know how sometimes you come across an idea and immediately think “why didn’t i think of that?” – well, i’m the master of this! nevermind that the idea could be something that wouldn’t even be something remotely able to be done by me (hello, money, location, time, expertise!!) for me, a great idea is a great idea!
so instead of throwing myself a mini pity party every time i come across a “why didn’t i think of that” idea, i’m inviting everyone that feels the same way to join me in this new series and instead we’ll just get out the “why didn’t i think of that” first (shout it out, if you need to!) and then we’ll move on to just enjoying these great ideas! because you can’t change what you don’t acknowledge, right?!

I’ve been using some of these 365 pics as my desktop background. And I always wonder why I didn’t think of that first. But then I move on and ask myself, can I add my own twist to it to make it unique. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But if I get a new project out of it, all that much better.

I know it! I thought of that with these simple masterpieces, as well–so grand, aren’t they? They make me think of those, “Live the Language” videos, too–love them all!

These are definitely beautiful pieces – what a fantastic idea, indeed! Those “Why didn’t I think of that” moments can really be inspiring – because it can prompt further inspiration and get your gears turning to other ideas! Something I once heard – never do something because you’ve seen it done. Always do something that you’ve never seen done. And that seems like common sense, but so much (in the blogging world and in life) is started because they see that other people are doing it. So being inspired to do your own project is so valuable in these days!
Go on, Piper, I know you’ve got brilliant ideas!!

I’m so glad you guys understand! I’ve been thinking about this idea since coming across The Jealous Curator a long time ago – because her blog is one of those “why didn’t I think of that” things for me!!
