My name is Piper Toth and I’m a new boutique owner, wannabe interior designer and indie design devotee.   I live in Cleveland, Ohio with my loving (and very patient) husband who thankfully goes along with all my crazy ideas and our 2 dogs, a yellow lab named burnsey (after Mr. Burns on the Simpsons) and a cavalier king charles spaniel named kit kat who are the original odd couple!

My love for design started when I was young and spent many a night driving my mom crazy by rearranging the furniture in my bedroom.  Let’s just say that things quickly progressed from there!

So, you ask, Where did the name One Sydney Road come from?
Since picking a name is impossible (especially every time you have a great idea, you find out that it’s already taken!), I decided on something that would have meaning to me. And since it was during our trip of a lifetime to Australia that I realized that:

a.) I had been dreaming of opening my own store for years and had yet to do it and decided it was time to take the leap (isn’t it great how vacation makes you feel like anything is possible!)

b.) australia is amazing – we were ready to move to sydney in a heartbeat if only it wasn’t so far away from family & friends.

c.) sydney is full of amazing boutiques – totally inspiring.
